On a recent Epoch news appearance, Dr. Robert Malone, a pioneer in mRNA vaccine technology was asked his opinion on today ills. Instead of speaking from his high technical and medical position, he broadened his approach. He started by urging people to “be kind to each other.” Then he ticked off three deep needs in our culture that are far bigger than the current problems with COVID-19: integrity, dignity, and community.

On the surface, the words seem so commonplace that they need no explanation. Everybody nods in agreement and then we go to the next news item. But for the soul winner who pauses to think about it, we have to admit that this is the heart of our purpose as Bible believers.

INTEGRITY: Synonyms include: reliability, truthfulness, honesty, veracity. The Bible puts it another way: “Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34.)

Over a hundred years ago, American leaders began to legalize sin and move us away from a culture of righteousness (integrity). Great academies like Harvard, Yale, Columbia, et. al. (originally christian colleges) decided that our Creator was no longer important and traded their biblical heritage for the god of false science.

So, how do we get integrity back? Isaiah’s prescription for Israel: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55:7) If we want to fix our land, every Bible believer must shoulder the Great Commission and preach, in some fashion, forgiveness for sin.

DIGNITY: Basically, “what a man is worth.” Ever since Charles Darwin, the word has gone out that man is just another kind of animal. We are just one more accident in an uncaring universe. “Life is absurd —then you die!” as one disillusioned youngster put it.

The truth necessary to counter this lie can be complex. But in the last 50 years, God has brought to the surface, through legitimate science, overwhelming facts about His incredible creation. For example, the blueprint information in the DNA molecule can only have come from a high order of intelligence. They have discovered that our “little blue planet” is so perfectly fine-tuned for life, that the likelihood of other civilizations in our cosmos is beyond remote.

Any conclusion other than that man’s worth is bound up in the purpose of a caring Creator, is hopelessly naive.

The most familiar of scriptures testifies to this: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) That beloved “world” is not just a cold space rock, but the teeming billions inhabiting it.

COMMUNITY: Dr. Malone’s third criteria is also obvious from both “nature” and scripture. God Himself is basically a community of three: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Together, they created the first family with the ability to multiply. Families grew into tribes and later the church was birthed.

Today, we can still rely on the goodness of the unity of the Creator, our own families, and the church fellowship.

Dr. Malone is really calling on the Bible believers to step up. Using different words, he pled for God’s people to bring the cultural correction so desperately needed.
