Thailand

Missionary Pat Caspary continues to send us pictures of the Karen refugees in northern Thailand who are receiving Chick tracts. They have been driven out of their homes in Burma (Myanmar) by the Burmese military. There are many children, and workers there are setting up programs to educate and minister to the children.

Philippines

We are preparing another container with nearly 2 million Chick tracts for the many waiting ministries in this island nation. Even though we have sent several containers of Chick tracts here, that’s just a drop in the bucket for this country of 120 million people. Their willingness to accept Gospel tracts and hear a witness in this country is amazing!

The pastor of one of the very active soul-winning churches described to us how it works: “Public preaching is a blessing in many ways! It also gives us the opportunity to witness first-hand the mysterious work of the Holy Spirit in lost sinners. One brother shared about a tricycle driver, France, who asked him for a Chick tract after seeing him give one to a passenger. Whether out of curiosity or envy, the Chick tract became a jump starter for a conversation that opened the door for France to hear the gospel, by which he confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour!”

Mexico

Mexicali

The 210,000 Chick tracts requested by Paul Buskager for his teams to use in the upcoming Mexicali outreach have been delivered to the brethren who are handling the border crossing. Buskager writes “The city has 210,000 people with only a handful of Bible believing churches. We plan on handing out the tracts in the streets during the day, as well as holding evangelistic meetings in the evenings. This will take place the last week of March.”

Irapuato

Missionary Lacy Wheeler works with many churches in central Mexico. Based in Irapuato, north of Mexico City, Wheeler has a network of pastors who come to him for Bibles and tracts to take to their towns, many times in mountain areas. As they do street preaching, they hand out packets with Chick tracts that you provided, plus an invitation to church.

They have used all their tracts, and are waiting anxiously for more ammunition – a shipment of 400,000 Chick tracts! As of the time of this writing, we still need funding for this project.

Honduras

Two things are happening here. First, Missionary Scott Sumner and his congregation are still pushing out the 200,000 Chick tracts they received. Sumner has a welcome from the military and police academies to preach to their cadets and give them Chick tracts. In the picture on the next page, we see just one of the military groups that he has been invited to preach to. They are holding the Bibles and Chick tracts that he gave them.

They also faithfully work the streets with Chick tracts.

In addition to Sumner’s work, another 200,000 Chick tracts were included in a container that went to Honduras. Below are local pastors loading their truck with tracts to blanket their city.

Next Opportunities

Here are more things going on at the time of this writing:

• 50,000 tracts going to Greece, where a young missionary couple travels the country with a group of young people, preaching in the markets and distributing Chick tracts.

• One million Chick tracts are headed for Guatemala. Missionary Carlos Donate says the tracts “literally fly off the shelves” at his ministry storehouse, as pastors come in to stock up for street witnessing.

• We received funding for 50,000 tracts headed for the Azores, a group of Portuguese islands in the Atlantic, where a group of young people are coming to blanket the islands for Jesus.

• 165,000 tracts, in Pidgin and English, are being prepared for Missionary Ken Seremak to use in helping to establish new churches in the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea.

• 10,000 French “This Was Your Life” will be printed for Missionary James Herringson on the island of Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar. They have been using these tracts for outreach since 2023 and report that they are seeing souls saved! They need more.• Veteran missionary Noel Shrivnauth has 20,000 Chick tracts on the way for his continued soul-winning in Guyana, along the northeast coast of South America.

• We still need funding to help send the container of nearly 2 million Chick tracts to the Philippines. The list of ministries receiving them rotates from container to container. Those who have requested these have run out and need more! They are willing to do the footwork to reach their nation. Let’s give them the tools.
