Dear Ones in Christ,
Today I went fishing for men and ladies. I grabbed some tracts and took my wife to a restaurant. There was a waiting crowd. I watched for Latinos, Blacks and young ladies. My shirt pocket was loaded. A Latino busboy was my first fish. He took all of my Spanish tracts like he had found a gold mine. Hmm. I should have brought more.
A server came by. I held up It`s All About You. She gave me a big smile and grabbed it. When the salad came, another young lady received the tract saying, "I love these books!" Later, I saw two ladies sitting at the bar that I had to pass to get to the restroom. I gave them It`s a Deal. When they saw the cover, they grabbed it.
In the restroom, I laid the tract in the perfect spot: on top of the toilet paper dispenser. Got back for the check and gave the young man waiting on us a copy of Evil Eyes. He said, "Wow! I like these books. We`ve got some in the back."
We passed a table next to the bar on the way out and I laid the last two tracts on it for customers. It was a big crowd and my wife was ahead of me. Outside, she said, "I prayed that you would lay the last two tracts on that table in the bar." I told her that I did.
It was a really nice lunch and a fun-filled fishing trip. Are you busy "fishing for men," too?
