Another evidence today of the Apostle Paul's "science falsely so called" is a report about the American Psychological Association's new guidelines on counseling men. Looking everywhere but in the right place, they have decided that our "traditional masculinity" is harmful to the individual man and unhealthy to growing boys.

The character traits of stoicism, competitiveness, dominance and aggression are considered the source of violence, suicides, and other anti-social behavior — such as increased hostility toward LGBT men.

Leadership of the Association is laced with same-sex sympathizers. Thus, the report is heavily tilted in favor of gender confusion. Their concern seems to be more about "hostility toward LGBT men" than growing boys into mature manhood.

As Bible-believers, we can recognize that this is just another misguided recommendation by the worshippers of pseudo-science.

Adopting a worldview based on evolution gets God out of the picture, leaving a vacuum to be filled with all kinds of evils.

The traits that the Association is deploring, originate from the heart of man not yet regenerated by the Spirit of God. One proponent of the report exulted: "If we can change men, we can change the world." He is exactly right but his method of changing men ignores realities that God put in the Bible about mankind.

Jeremiah (17:9) observed that the heart of man "...is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" The gospel presented in the New Testament includes a rebirth of the heart that is required for peace and love to dominate one's character.

Godless psychologists ignore the spiritual aspect of man's make up. All they have left then to change man is outside influences, education being their primary tool. When Satan inspires someone's overactive masculinity to shoot up a school it's considered a mental health issue, not a spiritual one. This requires more government control of the education system and a better government surveillance of potential derangement.

No consideration is given to the basic depravity of the human heart and/or the possibility of demonic influence. In fact, when God is ruled out of the picture, the idea of evil involving a spiritual being is also eliminated. Evil is only the negative effect of bad genetic mutations or a hostile environment.

While the secular priests of this world are ignoring biblical truth, we need to be busy seeding God's Truth into our communities. The Bible says that "righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people." (Prov. 14:34) America has reveled in the benefits of righteousness reaching a level of blessing never before seen in any other nation.

But, when we relinquished our universities to godless humanism, teaching atheism based on evolution, only a generation or two was necessary to place us under reproach. With the approval of abortion, we began legalizing sin and followed up with same-sex marriage and worse.

How desperately your neighbors need the Truth. But Truth is only found in the Bible and Satan has done a masterful job discrediting God's Book, labeling it all myths and fairytales.
