A Message From Jack Chick - November/December

Dear Ones in Christ,

Spanish speaking multitudes are crossing our borders and flooding our country. But they`re not the only ones. People are coming from nearly every country on earth. Do we see them as a hazard —or a field of souls ready for a harvest?

Tract evangelists who are obeying the great commission (Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature) are discovering the openness of these people. They find them eager to read these little gospel tracts.

When we are able to get them into prisons, a favorite among Spanish speakers is Gomez is Coming. On the streets, they love Tiny Shoes which is also popular in Mexico and Latin America. But then, they will take any Spanish tract gratefully. It is so easy to pass out these tracts to the Spanish people.

Spanish-speakers are not the only ones coming to our shores. We are beginning to hear more and more foreign languages on our streets. What immigrant groups are in your town? They are often anxious to learn more about their new home and its customs, and will accept a tract with gratitude, especially if it is in their language. Our nation, with its personal freedoms, will offer them plenty of chances to learn about sin. Let`s make sure they hear about Jesus!

One thing that puzzles me is when I hand a tract to a believer and they say, "No, thank you. I`ve already read that," and turn it down, instead of saying, "Great! I`ll pass it on to someone else."

The unspeakable joy in heaven will be to meet the Lord Jesus, Himself, and those who have gone on before us. But another great joy will be when someone walks up to you and says, "I`m in heaven because you gave me a gospel tract."

Beloved, don`t turn from these precious souls crossing our borders. Give them the glorious gospel. This is a golden opportunity. With tracts, you can do it even if you don`t speak their language.

Your brother in Christ,

Jack T. Chick, President
