There is little in God's creation more hated by Satan than families.

God created the first family when He saw that it was not good for Adam to be alone. Every successful culture in history has maintained policies supporting and encouraging strong family relationships.

So, it is not surprising that our families today are under constant attack. In the last 100 years we have watched a steady deterioration of the families in our culture. And this is not by accident.

For a long time, the family has been in the sights of several of Satan’s big guns. American government policy that originally favored the family has been captured and now targets the family from every side.

One diabolical movement has had an outside influence in destroying the family: Marxism.

Karl Marx was the godless godfather of much of the evil today throughout the world. Socialism is its softer side and communism the more brutal expression. In the last 150 years not only have families been destroyed in whole blocks of the population, but hundreds of millions have died under this brutal philosophy.

Chick Publications early on saw the poison that was being fed and discovered a video that carried a dire warning. It was entitled “AGENDA: Grinding America Down.” At one point, the producer, Curtis Bowers, details a list of strategies carefully laid out decades ago to destroy America and its families. These objectives were also outlined in 1958 by Cleon Skousen in a book that sold millions called “The Naked Communist.”

There have been numerous subsequent warnings in other volumes. These sources describe an early debate between the Marxists about the best approach to revolution. One side advocated violence as had been so successful in Russia. The other side noted that this had gotten a worldwide bad reputation. They advocated, instead, a “soft revolution.” And the list above was their proposed strategy.

As we look at our shattered culture, it is sobering to see how successful they have been. They have done everything to keep people away from God's one source of truth —the Bible. It's a choice between God or government.

If America recovers, it will only be because of widespread repentance and revival of the biblical family structure. If she does not recover, gone will be the last hope of any remaining bulwark against global chaos and the demonic reign of the Antichrist.

This Halloween season the families in your neighborhood have all suffered from this satanic attack. Many of them have no knowledge of the good news that God loves them and that He will support their efforts to rescue their families from Satan's bombardment.

A couple of Chick tracts in a trick-or-treat bag just might give them courage to hold the line.
