Public Libraries: Everyone Welcome, Just Not Christians

More than 50 public libraries across the country have refused to allow a "story hour" so Christian actor and author Kirk Cameron can share his new children's book, "As You Grow".

These are the same libraries who gladly welcome "drag queen story hour" so that men dressed as women can read books to toddlers.

Testimony: "Is this stuff FOR REAL?"

I used to find this tract in phone booths and laundry mats at the tender age of 12. GOD USED IT TO SHAKE ME TO THE CORE. It would be 7 years later that I got saved. The fundamental message is that at the White Throne Judgment, literally EVERYTHING would be played back.

In the early 90's we would go to a young men's lockdown delinquent center called Natural Bridge Correctional Facility (Learning Center) and would bring the troubled teens into an hour Bible study.

Many just came for a change of scenery. This one punk rock, rough, thug-looking youth came over with his leather studded jacket and announced something like words to this effect: "Hey. DON'T TALK TO ME. I am not interested in the Bible. I will sit in the corner in the back. I just want a change of scenery."

I said in so many words, "Very well. And here's something to read if you get bored."

I gave him This Was Your Life. He was HARD reading it the entire study and never gave us the time of day (though likely he was hearing some stuff but was glued to the tract). At the end, we are about to leave and he raised his hand.

"Is this stuff FOR REAL?" He asked. I said, "Yes."

He said, "You mean EVERYTHING we've ever done will be played back even when nobody knew?" I replied, "Yes."

He exclaimed, "Y'all ain't going anywhere!!! I need y'all to get over here and pray for me."

It was quite the fruitful time. THE FEAR OF THE LORD STRUCK HIM HARD. Gotta love it. Unforgettable!
